Michaela Sky - CP (Secondary Dystonia)
Michaela Sky, 11, has received two cycles of umbilical cord blood stem cells in China as of 2011. Her parents continuously search for new means of improving their daughter's quality of life. They see the stem cell treatments as having provided improvements to her core strength, muscle tone and control amongst other things. Michaela's father, Cchris, sat for an interview with us to discuss their decision to come to China for treatment.

About this data
Patients self-assess each symptom on a 5-point scale (Worse / No improvement / Small / Moderate / Significant) at follow-up checkpoints after treatment, comparing to their pre-treatment baseline. "Reported improvement" combines the small, moderate and significant buckets. Data is updated daily from our internal patient registry. As with any medical treatment, past results do not guarantee future outcomes — improvements vary from patient to patient.
